The Municipality of Tetovo is an active member of several important organizations that strengthen cooperation and development at local, regional and international levels.

Union of Municipalities of the Republic of North Macedonia (ZELS)

National association uniting all municipalities in North Macedonia.

Represents local governments before central institutions and international partners.

Provides coordination, support and visibility for municipalities.

Regional Relations

Network of Associations of Local Authorities of South-East Europe (NALAS)

Regional network connecting local government associations from 12 countries of South-East Europe.

Promotes cross-border cooperation and EU integration.

Encourages knowledge sharing and joint municipal projects.

International

Union of Turkic Municipalities of the World (TDBB)

Strengthens ties between municipalities from the Turkic world and the Balkans.

Promotes cultural, historical and economic cooperation.

European Union Programs

Active participation in IPA, Interreg, Erasmus+, and Horizon Europe.

Focus on infrastructure, sustainability, youth and cultural exchange.
